The Tricky Woo Suite at Skeldale House

Positive: Excellent location and lovely building Negative: Sofas and mattress need changing, the material sofa in particular.

Positive: Location Negative: The bathroom is way too small. It does not even have a place to hang the hand towel! Hooks on the wall outside of the bathroom would help.We booked a 4 night stay, and only 2 small rolls of toilet paper were provided. Mattress needs to be replaced..it is mushy soft. Explanation of how the heat works would have been good The key to the front door is very difficult to use. You have to turn really hard to the point that you are concerned about breaking the key and push on the door at the same time. Also, 2 different times as I was exiting the door, I found it open. As people were going out, they thought they were closing the door , but the stiff lock was not relatching. During the night, I could hear people struggling with the key to get in.

Great location Positive: Great location. Negative: Accommodation was good but could do with some tlc.

Positive: Beautifully decorated and fantastic location to explore the Dales.

Positive: We loved staying at the location of the BBC version of "All Creatures Great and Small". While it was only the facade that was part of the BBC show, it was still a fun connection. The staff was responsive and helpful. The location for dining and touring the Dales was exceptional. Negative: The furniture in the lounge looked very old and worn.
